We are a dedicated team of volunteers, committed to the vision of seeing interstellar flight achieved in the very near future. We come from many different backgrounds, cultures, education, but we all share one thing in common - a passion for the stars and the greater wonder of the amazing Cosmos. Although we do have a leadership and management structure, necessary in any organisation, we are also all good friends, with a shared comradery for the efforts we participate in.
Our team consists of people with different skills. We have scientists, engineers, physicists, biologists, architects, artists, accountants, programmers, model builders, teachers, university Professors, public speakers, philosophers, medical doctors, all within the midst of the Initiative for Interstellar Studies. Whatever background or skill you have, we can find a place for you in our organisation. The vision of the stars is one that encompasses all of humanity in its rich diversity and broad outlooks.
