The BIS Space Day was an event held at The Hive, Worcester to celebrate space, astronomy and anything astrophysics! This event was open to the public and anyone with an interest in space was welcome to explore the activities on offer.
Did you get involved with the BIS Space Day on 5 October? You may have seen the i4is team at our stall there and taken part in some of our activities. If you would like to explore these activities further, the paper telescope suppliers can be found here and activity booklet is available here.
We took along a number of different resources including paper telescopes, ferrofluids, 3D simulations of the Earth's magnetic field, paper spectroscopes and magnets.
We hope you enjoyed meeting us at the BIS day if you came along, and please take a look at the resources if you'd like to learn more and get your own telescope!
